Batman.

This cake will have a batman figurine attached to it when I get it delivered. I'll take another picture of it then. I like this cake (except for my crappy writing job) because of the color. The blue and yellow windows were painted on and I like the effect - reminds me of my whale cake.

Witches Cauldron.

There is a cup in the middle to hold dry ice to make the cauldron steam - will try and get a photo/video of it later.
The cake is vanilla with vanilla buttercream. The decorations are made of fondant with some candy melts mixed in for good measure.

Tractor Cake.

Happy 2nd Birthday Isaac!

The Cake Slice Bakers Present...

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Pound Cake!

This month's cake is from Lauren Chattman's "Cake Keeper Cakes"..... I was excited to make it as pumpkin bread is a fave of my family....This cake smelled so good....I made it quick before work, and quickly sliced it to take a pic....and sadly did not eat a piece, but my kids loved it!

It's not as rich and spicy as typical pumpkin bread, but tasty and moist nonetheless (at least according to my daughter).
You can read more about the other Cake Slice Bakers cakes this month here .

Dump Truck

A replica of a cake I saw on Flickr by Becky of "Sweet Maddie Lee Cake Design". I thought it was adorable. This is my first "real" sculpted cake, as most of the time I use Rice Krispy Treats to make a design....but with the exception of the wheels, It's all cake.

Cupcakes...

A variety of cupcakes for a 40th birthday....

Red Velvet with a whipped ganache filling and cream cheese frosting,

Chocolate with either blackberry buttercream filling and ganache glaze, or just topped with blackberry Swiss Meringue Buttercream...

Lemon with Blackberry buttercream and a homemade blackberry syrup drizzle.

And one unfrosted per the reciepents request....
